• We generally don't allow people to fish from the bank.  There are too many potentials for accidents, bites, disturbing the shoreline, etc. and we lose control.

• The trips are guided by someone who knows the lake.  This is to help assure participants catch fish, but it is for safety concerns, too.

• Who qualifies to fish? The general rule of thumb is that we only take those who couldn't fish elsewhere.  So, an able-bodied veteran is not normally someone we would allow to fish our lake.  There are always exceptions to the rule.
